In the marine sector, quality is non-negotiable. Every component must meet demanding standards of mechanical strength, aesthetic finish and dimensional accuracy — because on board, a defect is simply not an option.
Zemburg produced a shaped toughened glass panel for wall infill on a vessel, managing the entire production cycle in-house: from CNC precision grinding to full-coverage digital printing, through to final toughening.
The 8mm glass was shaped to a non-standard angled profile, designed to fit the vessel's structure. Full-coverage screen printing applies a black ceramic enamel across the entire surface: once fired, it becomes an integral part of the glass itself — fully opaque, uniform, UV-resistant and suited to the marine environment. Toughening in the furnace completes the process, delivering the mechanical and thermal resistance required by safety standards, with flatness guaranteed even on complex geometries.
Everything under one roof, everything controlled. This is the standard the marine sector demands — and the one Zemburg commits to on every order.
